Meg Wylie
I am an Irish artist currently based in London. My practice primarily focuses on painting and drawing however I have worked in sculpture, textiles, performance and film amongst other mediums in the past.
I am interested in how memory, experiences and background can intrinsically mould an individual, and how we consequently become a product of our own experiences and surroundings. I am interested in how everything fits in with and follows on from everything else; the “woven-ness” of things. Through painting I aim to highlight this ‘unseparation’ between people and everything else.
I also work as an art director, mainly for music videos.
