It’s time we celebrated the remakers and shakers of the circular economy. The forward thinkers, the future makers and the no-wasters.
More and more industries are subscribing to the use of waste as a raw material and creatively coming up with solutions to add circularity to the design process.
For one weekend in June, we add a spotlight to those that are challenging the notion of new by creating things out of something that has been discarded.
A Friday night launch party and fashion show will be held at Excelsior, an industrial warehouse housing 50+ creatives in Park Royal. Contact us to be added to the guest list.
Over the weekend 20+ remakers and vintage and preloved furniture and fashion sellers will take over EX2 (a new innovation hub in Park Royal) for a weekend market, workshops, panel talks and a BIG SWAP. A children’s craft area and a teenage market will keep the kids engaged. Panel talks with hosts Loma-Anne Marks, Editor in Chief of Reclaim Magazine and Former fashion editor and eco-activist Bel Jacobs will explore ideas for growth in the circularity.
You’ll have the chance to meet the remakers and shakers of a local circular economy and discover a growing creative scene in Park Royal, including new technology innovations, and open-access spaces (ReMade in Park Royal, POW and London Hackspace).

The event is FREE but registration is required, and you are invited to bring along up to 5 clothing items to take part in redistributing fashion at the BIG SWAP!
REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR GENERAL ACCESS TO THE WEEKEND MARKET.
