SIRA*: The Joy Apocalypse and Other Musings About the End of the World

Join us for an evening of music, storytelling, sacrament and dance with Zina Saro-Wiwa's alter ego SIRA*

We are delighted to welcome you to SIRA*: The Joy Apocalypse and Other Musings About the End of the World, a special evening of performance lecture and listening event, part of a global series of artist-led presentations celebrating the new album Songs For The End of the World by SIRA*

Songs for the End of the World is a unique, eclectic collection that explores the idea of the apocalypse, a theme SIRA* is currently consumed by. An extension of her studio art practise concerned with re-imagining and de-colonising environmentalism and mapping spiritual ecosystems, the album and listening events are an activation of 10 years of findings and work in environmental art.

We look forward to sharing this unique, immersive experience with you as SIRA* offers 'a guided journey to contemplate the end of the world in a ritualised space that acknowledges our fears, allows for mourning, but is also full of hope, love, joy, curiosity, and inquiry.'
