Bill Amberg Studio has existed for over 30 years, and today stands as an industry leader in bespoke leather products, interiors and furniture. Bringing together artisans from the worlds of saddlery, bag making, bookbinding and other forms of fine leathercraft, the studio has a mission to explore the aesthetic and material possibilities of leather, while also proudly holding its practices and those of its partner tanneries and suppliers to the industry’s highest ethical and sustainability standards.

For LDF23, Bill Amberg Studio will open the doors of their London workshop, allowing visitors a rare opportunity to look behind the scenes as their craftsmen create bespoke leatherwork for New York’s iconic Lever House - a design collaboration between Bill Amberg Studio and AD100 architects Marmol Radziner. Visitors will enjoy an interactive insight into contemporary leather craftsmanship, tours of the workshop and witness leather workers demonstrating their skills live.

Also on show will be Bill Amberg Studio’s unique sustainable furniture collection, made using natural materials from Knepp Estate's celebrated rewilding project – leather produced from the estate's longhorn cattle and wood from ash dieback clearance. Plus, visitors will be the first to view the studio’s Black Ash Collection launching this Autumn.
