Mindspray Talks bring together leading voices to share insights and perspectives on cultural heritage and creative placemaking.

This first talk in the series features Neequaye 'Dreph' Dsane. Dreph is a leading London-based visual artist known for creating large-scale portraits in the public realm.

In discussing his experiences across cultural, political, and social landscapes, Dreph will share insights from his early beginnings as a graffiti artist, to his current work and practice as an internationally recognised muralist.

Errol Donald (aka ‘Pride’) is an artist, curator, and the founder of Mindspray which advises clients on delivering arts and cultural heritage projects.

Errol is acknowledged as a pioneer and key figure within British graffiti art. Amongst the first in the UK to explore graffiti's creative potential within the commercial and gallery spaces in the early '80s, he was also a founding member of 'The Chrome Angelz' (TCA), who were influential in developing a distinctly European aesthetic by way of the style, and enduring spirit of NY graffiti culture.

Meteorite Park Royal is a public sculpture project by Pati Starzykowski. Working with rescued soil and London clay from the HS2 dig, a group of participants from local communities took part in two workshops where — similar to meteorites — they collected spatial debris and what's underneath us, bringing it together, working with deep time, learning about the history of London clay deposits and shaping it into a collective living sculpture.

The outcome of this project is a publicly displayed sculpture created as a site of impact at Imperial College’s Woodward Buildings near North Acton station.

Great thanks to Artification, OPDC - Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation, Mayor of London, Loom Projects, Re-made in Park Royal for the help, contribution and funding.
